Allyson McQuinn
Allyson McQuinn DHHP, HD(RHom.), DMH Allyson McQuinn has been exploring homeopathy for almost ten years. During her studies at the Hahnemann College for Heikunst, Allyson learned, through the treatment of her son Jordan and herself, about cure. It so inspired her that she embraced her first love, writing, to chronicle their journey in her book, "The Path to Cure: The Whole Art of Healing," she weaves an explanation of the system of medicine into experiential stories so the reader can take away a better understanding of why Heilkunst was her path to cure. Her book is available through arcanum.ca. Allyson practices Heilkunst homeopathy in Ottawa, where she furthers her research in resonant partnership with her husband, Jeff Korentayer, also a doctor of homeopathic medicine. Her two healthy, awesome children, Jordan and Adie, are an infinite source of energy and wonder who remind her how important it is to take time out "to play." Allyson is currently writing two other books: a collection of her poetry due out in the Fall of 2004 and an approach to Heilkunst for children which is "in the works."
