Lois grew up with an interest in health from the time she was a young child. Her earliest memories revolve around her brother and grandfather being hospitalized with serious breathing problems.

This fascination led to years of study as she wanted to teach nursing. During her father’s terminal illness with cancer she saw the medical system from a different viewpoint. Her father's doctor refused to care for him if he tried alternative treatments. That same year her fourth child was born with a seizure disorder. With both her father and daughter she found that the conventional system offered no cure. Helplessly, she stood by with no way to help the people she loved most. Without Heilkunst her daughter could not have survived much longer. She had suffered severe liver damage from the drugs. Conventional medicine merely offered added drug therapy to a child in this condition.

Today she is eternally grateful to practice the art of Heilkunst. It is a powerful system of medicine capable of restoring health on all levels.

Following graduation from the DHHP program, animals kept coming to me for treatment. I quickly realized their requirements were unique and that further in-depth study would be necessary. We previously had three of our own dogs treated with Heilkunst, one of whom had cancer. All three of our dog's health improved immensely so I had witnessed first-hand how awesome this form of medicine is with animals.

I was raised on a farm and grew up watching my father's humane treatment of animals be thwarted when illness came along and he knew of no other way but the suppressive medications with their dangerous side-effects. When this avenue did not work, the choice was to "put the animal down". Looking back, most of these situations could have been either prevented or treated, having a positive outcome with Heilkunst.

Heilkunst offers such a wide range of possibilities, from the treatment of animals on an individual basis to entire herds being treated at the same time. Owners are taught how to prevent many of the illnesses and how to care for their own animals in acute situations. Heilkunst is safe, cost-effective and best of all it works as it addresses the underlying cause for the illness in animals, as it does in humans.
