WHY? Never before had we brought together this caliber of international speakers, and you may never see such an event again. Regardless of your background, whether student, graduate, practitioner or interested lay person, you would have be stimulated, challenged and inspired by what you could have experienced!

WHAT? A focus on the principles and insights of Rudolf Steiner regarding man and nature, particularly as set out in his medical lectures and as practiced today in the form of Anthroposophical medicine. These principles illuminate one pole of Dr. Hahnemann's Heilkunst and allow us to better understand the functional dynamics of health and disease.

WHOM? Three speakers, experts in their field, with a deep knowledge of science and nature, allow for an unparalleled dynamic interaction and superimposition of ideas.

AGENDA

THURSDAY, 10 JULY - DAY ONE
Setting the Scene: All Day

We were pleased to present, from California, Steven Decker, Chancellor at Hahnemann College. Steven presented completely new material and insights into the law of opposites and dynamic physiology, setting the stage to link Heilkunst to Steiner's Anthroposophy (as well as to the work of Wilhelm Reich). Steven's presentation was the context and catalyst for much of the remaining week. Steven was a pleasure to hear, and what he had to say was a feast for spirit, soul and mind. A rare treat not to be missed!

FRIDAY, 11 JULY - DAY TWO
Sound and Light I: Morning Session

Dr. Peter Hinderberger, of Baltimore, MD provided us the foundations of Anthroposophical Medicine based on his vast experience and knowledge. Dr. Hinderberger has also been trained in homeopathy and is very interested in integrating various modalities.

Afternoon Session
Albert Schmidli, head pharmacist for Weleda in Arlesheim, Switzerland, regaled us with a veritable feast for the ear and the eye, as well as our other senses, which demonstrated and brought out the supersensible nature behind all matter, and the role that this plays in the preparation of medicines, both homeopathic and anthroposophic.

SATURDAY, 12 JULY - DAY THREE
Sound and Light II: Morning Session

Dr. Hinderberger providef a more in-depth look at the spiritual aspects or spiritual beings that are behind substances, and the nature of the supersensible dimension that we need to work with in regimen and medicine.

Afternoon Session
This was a visual demonstration by Albert Schmidli that took us deeper into the realm of matter, yet closer to spirit. Here we saw the interweaving of light and dark, the ultimate polarity of the universe.

HCH Graduation Ceremony: Immediately following the lectures at 5:00 p.m., the Hahnemann College held a ceremony for all of its current graduates, with the awarding of their diplomas. All participants were welcome to attend.

SUNDAY, 13 JULY - DAY FOUR
Sound and Light III: All Day

The days of preparation bear fruit! Steven Decker presented an integrated perspective of the previous days presentations and led a discussion amongst the speakers on the points of convergence and resonance between Heilkunst and Anthroposophical Medicine. Cases and points of theory wer interwoven as we tried to find the true marriage of Spiritus and Dynamis. It was a delight for the mind and soul-spirit.

MONDAY, 14 JULY - DAY FIVE
Resonant Worlds: Morning Session

To ground Sunday's talks Rudi Verspoor, Dean of Hahnemann College, and Dr. Hinderberger presented actual case histories and other examples of the power of Heilkunst and Anthroposophical Medicine to enrich each other's understanding and treatment of disease. Steven Decker embellished the presentations with his comments and insights.

Afternoon Session
To round off the week, Albert Schmidli provided us another stimulating and inimitable demonstration of the true alchemy of matter. A fitting end to an exhilarating week!

TUESDAY, 15 JULY - EXTRA DAY SIX
Practitioner's Forum: A full day at the Apple Hill campus of the Hahnemann College for recent graduates and practitioners. (Open to FHCH, DVHH and DHHP holders only.)

SPEAKERS

Steven Decker, with his consummate command of the German language and understanding of the theoretical framework of the dynamic system of thought, within which Hahnemann and Steiner both are to be found and studied, brings the power of the creative imagination to bear on any issue, the power needed to link and superimpose ideas and systems so they further illuminate the truth and contribute to the evolution of human consciousness. A penetrating mind and speaker, Steven lives in Santa Barbara, California, and is a true citizen of the world.

Dr. Peter Hinderberger was born and raised in Switzerland, where he received his medical degree and subsequent training in anthroposophically extended medicine. He studied homeopathy with George Vithoulkas and Jacques Imbrecht. In 1981 he went to the US, and in the spring of 1984 opened a general practice at the Ruscombe Community Wellness Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He is currently school physician for the Baltimore Waldorf School. He lives in Mt. Washington with his wife Bonny Eisenbise and three children, Sophie, Sarah, and Elias. Dr. Hinderberger brings a wealth of experience and exposure to the worlds of anthroposophy and homeopathy along with an inquiring and open mind.

Albert Schmidli is the chief pharmacist with Weleda, the Swiss company that produces the medical products used by Anthroposophical physicians. He comes with a wealth of knowledge of Goethe and Steiner, along with the alchemical ability to coax the spirit-like essence out of matter.

Rudi Verspoor is Dean and Chair, Department of Philosophy of Hahnemann College for Heilkunst. He brings over a decade of experience in the use of Hahnemann's complete medical system to the discussions. He has worked closely with Steven Decker to bring the full import of Hahnemann's writings and teachings, along with the other members of the dynamic system of thought, to the public in the form of books and a college training program for practitioners.
