REGISTRATION

Your complete diploma course fee includes participation in up to two (three-year DHHP/DVHH) or four (new four-year DHHP/DVHH) Summer School sessions over the course of your studies. When you submit the formal registration form, please be sure to indicate if you intend using the 2006 session as one of your entitled credits.

Credits are granted based on tuition paid to date, so that single payment students have those credits lined up and waiting to be used right at the start of their studies, annual payment plan students get one credit at a time, and monthly payment students are issued credits depending on how much tuition has been paid for the year.

Students may also exchange their credits for audio of Summer School when it becomes available in September.

AGENDA

THURSDAY JULY 6
Introduction to Dynamic Blood Analysis
This OPTIONAL workshop was offered primarily for distance students who need to complete Module 41, and who have been unable to attend the full weekend offered in previous years. Linda Clifford taught the basics of Live Blood Analysis, what can be seen under the microscope and how it fits in your practice.

No fee for DHHP and/or DVHH students
** Please note that students who have never participated in the workshop had first dibs over those who may have attended previous sessions.

FRIDAY JULY 7
Morning: From Substance to Essence
An overview and interweaving of the most essential concepts of Heilkunst - for the beginner to the seasoned practitioner, from the substance of regimen to the essence of medicine. We looked at regimenal principles and typologies, as well as the principle behind the use of various therapies, the role of supplements, the healative and the curative remedies on the medicine side. The essence of knowledge is the nature and quantity of associations we can form and hold, using the simplex of principle to comprehend the complex of reality.

Afternoon: Raise High the Consciousness, Carpenter
Participants explored the importance of therapeutic education in the health of their patients, and how their own understanding of the world of illusions versus the world of reality is critical to their own health and their ability to help others to use their new health to free their mind. The increasing role of dynamic philosophy in studies and continuing education was discussed.

Night: Canadian/International Heilkunst Association (C/CIHA)
AGM immediately after the day's session (5:30-6:30) followed by a potluck at the Hahnemann College, Manotick.

SATURDAY JULY 8 AND SUNDAY JULY 9
Autism Conference
Getting out of the Swamp
Autism: The Journey Back to Health with Heilkunst

Saturday Morning: Creating a Road Map
There are no simple solutions, but there is a roadmap out. Participants learned more about the systematic approach to removing the underlying causes of autistic spectrum disorders. This is the only way to truly cure these challenging cases and to restore health. Also discussed was the various triggers for autism and related disorders and how this knowledge can often work when nothing else does.

Saturday Afternoon: Vaccinations: The Danger and the Alternatives
Vaccines: never has so much been promised to so many with so few benefits resulting in so much harm. Participants learned how and why vaccines are an assault on the immune system, why they can trigger autism and what can be done to reverse the damage. Information about safe, natural measures for building immunity was also presented.

Saturday Evening: Graduation

Sunday Morning: Working Together/Building Community
There are many approaches and therapies out there, and more arriving on the scene each month. How do we know what will work? Will other therapies interfere with, or complement, Heilkunst? We examined various approaches currently used to treat autism and how they interact with, or complement, Heilkunst, such as the SCD and other diets, HBOT, Secretin, chelation, the DAN! protocol, and others.

Sunday Afternoon: Putting It All Together, or When the Rubber Hits the Road
Presentation of several fascinating cases by both parents and practitioners, with time for questions from the audience. This is where the weekend came together and participants could see the promise - past, present and future of Heilkunst. The swamp can be drained, the children can be saved, but it is hard to realize this when you feel you are deep in the swamp and up to your proverbial ass in alligators. Participants gained a new perspective and realistic hope for the removal of autism and similar conditions.

A copy of the book, "Autism: The Journey Back - Recovery of the Self through Heilkunst" was included in the conference fee.

Open to the public.
For non-students, or those not registered for the rest of Summer School:
Early bird special: $200 by April 17th
Thereafter:
$225 by May 30th
$250 from June 1st onwards

MONDAY JULY 10
Morning: Pandemics and Preparedness
Chicken Little had nothing on the current technocrats and their dire warnings about the "Avian Flu," yet there remain real dangers that we need to be aware of and the effective means of prevention and treatment. Participants learned how to prepare themselves and their patients for what lies ahead. The discussion covered preparedness in general, with some specifics. In just the past few years we've had an earthquake in Ottawa, horrific hurricanes and the resultant flooding in the southern US (and some practitioners, patients and students volunteered to help in those areas), the entire east coast suffered a massive power outage, there have been huge snowstorms, ice storms, and we went through a "SARS" outbreak - no - TWO of them. Severe weather and medical conditions seem to be more and more a reality for our future. Are you prepared? Do you have the remedies you need? Do you know how to make the remedies you might need when none are available? And what about other supplies? Are you prepared?

Monday afternoon: Open Topics - Bring your questions!
This session gave participants a chance to ask their burning questions, discuss an issue or concept, provide a comment, share their thoughts.
